六十二見
(六十二見, 六十二见)
The sixty-two [lang id =1028]見 or views, of which three groups are given: The [lang id =1028]大品般若經 in the [lang id =1028]佛母品 takes each of the five skandhas under four considerations of [lang id =1028]常 time, considered as time past, whether each of the five has had permanence, impermanence, both, neither, 5 x 4 = 20; again as to their space, or extension, considered as present time, whether each is finite, infinite, both, neither =20; again as to their destination, i. e. future, as to whether each goes on, or does not, both, neither (e. g. continued personality) = 20, or in all 60; add the two ideas whether body and mind [lang id =1028]神 are a unity or different = 62. The Tiantai School takes [lang id =1028]我見, or personality, as its basis and considers each of the five skandhas under four aspects, e. g
(1) (sa) rūpa, the organized body, as the ego;
(2) the ego as apart from the (sa) rūpa;
(3) (sa) rūpa as the greater, the ego the smaller or inferior, and the ego as dwelling in the (sa) rūpa;
(4) the ego as the greater, rupa the inferior, and the rupa in the ego. Consider these twenty in the past, present, and future = 60, and add [lang id =1028]斷 and [lang id =1028]常 impermanence and permanence as fundamentals = 62. There is also a third group.

此為古代印度外道所執的六十二種錯誤見解。 但經中有數種異說, 如《長阿含經・梵動經》, 載有十類六十二見之說, 而對外道所執的諸論, 大別為本劫本見、 末劫末見二種。 本劫本見即依過去前際而起分別見, 凡有五類十八見, 包括常論四種、 亦常亦無常論四種、 邊無邊論四種、 種種論四種、 無因而有論二種;末劫末見即依未來後際而起分別見, 凡有五類四十四見, 包括有想論十六種、 無想論八種、 非有想非無想論八種、 斷滅論七種、 現在泥洹論五種, 總計十類六十二見。 又在《大乘法苑義林章》卷四, 亦舉出六十二見, 然名稱略異, 文繁不錄。

﹝出大涅槃經﹞ 謂外道之人, 於色受想行識五陰法中, 每一陰起四種見, 則成二十見。 約過去、 現在、 未來三世論之, 成六十見。 此六十見, 以斷、 常二見, 而為根本, 則總成六十二見也。 (四種見者, 謂於五陰中, 如計色大我小, 我在色中, 為一見。 我即神我, 謂識神也。 又計我大色小, 色在我中, 為二見。 又計離色是我, 為三見。 又計即色是我, 為四見也。 色陰既爾, 受想行識亦然。 )

是外道的邪見, 以五蘊為起見的對象, 依色法和心法為根本。 此六十二見是以色、 受、 想、 行、 識等五蘊法為對象, 起常、 無常、 亦常亦無常、 非常非無常等見, 如是五四共成二十見; 以色、 受、 想、 行、 識等五蘊為對象, 起有邊際、 無邊際、 亦有邊際亦無邊際、 非有邊際非無邊際等見, 如是二十見, 連上面共成四十見; 以色、 受、 想、 行、 識等五蘊為對象, 起有去來、 無去來、 亦有去來亦無去來、 非有去來非無去來等見, 如是二十見, 連上面共成六十見; 此六十見又加上根本的色心二見, 共成六十二見。
